As we move into the final months of the year, we're excited to share several meaningful milestones from November that bring us closer to our mission of building the leading AI-powered search and discovery platform for modest fashion.
  • MVP Launched: Our iOS and Android MVP is now live with roughly 40 external testers. Early feedback is helping us refine all aspects of our application.
  • Product Improvements: We are iterating quickly based on tester insights and tightening core functionality across search, filters, and navigation.
  • NYC Conference: We attended a talent-recruitment conference in New York, where we connected with prospective engineers and designers.
  • Team Growth: We onboarded an AI Engineer and a third Social Media Marketing Manager, strengthening both our technical and marketing momentum.

Team Growth
In November, we expanded our technical leadership by adding a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to begin architecting our AI strategy. This addition strengthens our data and personalization capabilities, positioning MDST Market to deliver smarter, more adaptive user experiences. We also added a third Social Media Marketing Manager to accelerate content output and grow brand awareness across our core channels.

Product Development
In November, we officially launched our MVP to a pool of around 40 beta testers. To support this milestone, we set up dedicated processes to capture user insights and feedback directly from real usage. The team also began a new development sprint focused on expanding functionality, refining design, and improving performance. This sprint introduces an upgraded data infrastructure that gives us greater control over the information we capture and analyze—laying the foundation for smarter insights and more adaptive product decisions.

We refreshed our onboarding experience to better resonate with our target audience and clearly communicate what MDST Market is all about. The new flow highlights the app’s purpose and value from the first tap—setting the tone for an experience that feels relevant, intuitive, and true to our mission.

We also refined the app’s navigation to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. The updated layout not only simplifies exploration but also highlights our core value — the AI-driven search experience that powers MDST’s unique approach to discovery. x

Marketing & Commercials
This month maintained steady momentum as we continued growing our online community, achieving 20% month-over-month follower growth across our core channels. Our marketing team focused on product-focused content, consistent posting, and early audience education to build anticipation ahead of broader beta access. We also continued refining our messaging and creative direction to support our upcoming go-to-market initiatives.

Administrative
This month remained largely steady on the operations side. We continued prioritizing a healthy run rate, reducing nonessential expenses, and directing spend toward product development and go-to-market essentials. Our focus remains on operational discipline while preparing the foundation for a successful launch.

What's Next?
Over the next month, we’ll continue refining the product with a stronger focus on hands-on user testing through guided walkthroughs and surveys. In parallel, we’re investing heavily in understanding emerging AI trends within the e-commerce and search ecosystem, using those insights to shape our next wave of feature improvements. We will also deepen our research into scalable cloud infrastructure to ensure we’re prepared for a stable and secure launch. Finally, we’re planning to bring on an additional front-end developer to increase development velocity and support the growing demands of the product.
